Liberty isn’t over until you’re home.
LIBO, short for Liberty Bound, is the rideshare company that will spearhead AMETION’s launch near Camp Pendleton, starting with the Get Home Safe Alive campaign. AMETION is the founder and headquarters behind it. Founding gear helps launch both.
Rides are not available yet. Join the list to hear first when LIBO launches near Camp Pendleton.
What we’re building
AMETION is the founding company and headquarters. LIBO is its rideshare company, the spearhead that leads from the front, starting with the Marines, sailors and families around Camp Pendleton. Its drivers come from the same community: veterans, service members, reservists and military family members. Pay is shown to a driver before they accept a trip and itemized after it.
AMETION, the headquarters
The founder and parent company, and the platform behind every LIBO ride. It is being formed now and is not carrying passengers yet.
LIBO, the spearhead
The rideshare company that leads AMETION’s launch and represents it on the road. Its Get Home Safe Alive campaign runs first, so planning the ride home is already a habit. Rides start near Camp Pendleton and in North County San Diego once permits, insurance and base access are in place.
Where it goes
Camp Pendleton first, then Camp Lejeune, Texas and beyond, one installation at a time. The goal is the most trusted ride company for America’s military communities.
Who’s behind it
AMETION was started by Dale “Dalesh” Dune, a retired Marine Master Sergeant with 23 years of service. Since leaving the Corps he has driven more than 1,000 rides on a third-party rideshare platform with a 5.0 driver rating, so he has seen the ride home from the front seat.
Getting to the gate isn’t the same as getting home.
Liberty is earned. The ride back is where it can go wrong, and too many military personnel are still working that part out alone, at night, outside the gate.
LIBO is the first public-safety mission, running ahead of AMETION’s launch near Camp Pendleton and North County San Diego, so planning the ride home is already a habit before the first ride is booked. LIBO is also the rideshare company that will spearhead that launch, leading from the front and representing AMETION on the road. AMETION is the founder, the headquarters and the parent company behind it.
Pick the ride home first
Decide how you’re getting back before you go out, not after the second round.
Go out with a buddy
Agree on who is taking whom home, and stick to it.
Don’t drive after drinking
Not to the gate, not around the block. Call for a ride or call a buddy. Call LIBO.
